Manali
Manali is a Famous Hill Station of North India, towards north of Kullu Valley, northern Himachal Pradesh state. It has a reputation as a Honeymoon Destination and Adventure Center. Set on the Beas River, it’s a gateway for skiing in the Solang Valley and trekking in Parvati Valley. It's also a entry gateway towards Spiti Valley and leh Ladakh Regions of Northern India.
Manikaran & Kasol Valley
Manikaran is just about 40 KMS from Apple Valley Resorts Kullu, It takes a day to enjoy this entire valley... Manikaran is famous for Ancient temples, a huge Gurudwara tucked between imposing hills and a fierce Beas. The high point of the Manikaran Sahib is the hot spring located within the premise of the Gurdwara. The devout take a dip here to wash their sins and illnesses away as the spring water is believed to have healing properties. The ‘Langar’ is delicious and wholesome. Adjoining Manikaran before 6 KMS is Small enchanting town of kasol. Kasol is situated in Parvati Valley, on the banks of the Parvati River, on the way between Bhuntar to Manikaran. It is located 42 km east of Kullu at the height of 1640 meters.
Prashar Lake
Prashar Lake lies 60 km from Appl Valley Resorts Kullu, Himachal Pradesh,, with a three storied pagoda-like temple dedicated to the sage Prashar. The lake is located at a height of 2730 m above sea level. With deep blue waters, the lake is held sacred to the sage Prashar and he is regarded to have meditated there. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks and looking down on the fast flowing river Beas, makes this journey beautiful.
The temple was built in the thirteenth century and legend has it was built by a baby from a single tree. The lake has a floating island in it and it is said to be unclear how deep it is, with a diver not being able to determine its depth.
